A short information: Khor Virap-a monastery fortress- is an
architectural memorial of 17th century.
In ancient times here was the historical town Artashat one
of the most ancient towns of Armenia.Besides being a monastery
fortress it has also been kings' prison.

A short information: Noravank is a monastery complex (XIII-XIVcenturies).
Including the church of Saint Karapet (1221-1227) like a dome

Yerevan - Akhpat - the date
of foundation of Akhpat Monastery which is situated in the
northeastern part of Sanahin is in the 10th century. It was
founded under the governor Ashot the 3rd from dynasty of Bagratuns.

Sanahin - Yerevan
A short information: Sanahin is a monastery, built in 966
during the days of governor Ashot the 3rd.At first it consisted
of Saint Virgin and Amenaprkich and only then additional structures

in the place where the rivers Arkashen and Amberd join.It
is situated at 2300m above the sea level.

A short information: The monastery church Saghmosavank was
built in 1215.It belongs to those types of churches that have
in all corners cross domes with two storeyed borders, The

complex on the peninsula of Sevan founded in the 4th century.

which clear sketches are seen in the sky from far; the smaller
church is Saint Karapet, the larger church is Saint Arakelots
(874).
